Pieces

  1. Long read · image generation

  2. Long read · running table

  3. Naming and interface copy

    Fiction to Reality Tracker↗

  4. UX copy

    AI Detector↗

Empty state, method notes and warnings for a tool people will want to misuse. The key line: "Never use a score alone to accuse anyone." It also checks images for C2PA Content Credentials.

How I spotted it

Glaze kept reporting bigger download numbers, 7.7 million by July 2025, while a USENIX paper showed a tool that detects Nightshade-poisoned images 99.98% of the time. I wanted to know which kinds of pushback change anything, so I started logging them. Of 104 cases with a clear result, 74 went the way the people pushing back wanted.
